Why We’re Bringing Data Education Into Women’s Health at Asele, With DataCamp Donates

At Asele, we think about women’s health beyond tracking symptoms or understanding cycles. Those things matter, but they are only one part of the picture.
For many women, especially across Africa, health outcomes are shaped by more than personal knowledge. Financial stability, access to education, and career opportunities all play a role. Healthcare costs money. Information requires access. And the more empowered a woman is through learning and work, the more options she has when it comes to her health.
That is why we are intentional about building Asele as more than an app.
We support menstrual health education, but we also recognise that long-term wellbeing is closely linked to income, skills, and environment. When women have access to education and meaningful careers, they are better positioned to make informed health decisions and to afford the care they need.
This belief is what makes our partnership with DataCamp Donates so meaningful.
Through this partnership, members of the Asele community will receive access to DataCamp scholarships starting next month. These licenses will support women who want to build skills in data and technology, opening doors to career growth and financial stability alongside their health journeys.
We are grateful to DataCamp Donates for believing in our mission and supporting our community in this way.
If you'd like to be a part of it, sign up to be a part of our community.
