Asele
Reimagining Women’s Health Through Technology
Asele is a women’s health tech company built on both personal history and professional expertise. We are creating AI-powered tools and community-centered resources that help women track, understand, and manage their health in ways that feel relevant and easy to use.
From cycle-aware productivity tips to personalized wellness recommendations, our goal is to help women, especially African women, take charge of their health in today’s fast-changing world.

Why We Started Asele
Asele is named after our late mother, Asele Omerejo Okagua (1962–2000), a psychiatric nurse who spent her life caring for others with compassion and strength.
In our language, Abuan, Asele means choice, carefully selected, or chosen.
We started this company to keep her name and legacy alive.
There is a quote that stays with us:
"A person dies three times. Once when their heart stops. Again when they are buried. And finally when their name is spoken for the last time."
As long as Asele exists, her name will continue.
